Brett Favre Vikings
According to WCCO in Minneapolis, quarterback Brett Favre is expected to sign a contract with the Minnesota Vikings on August 18, 2009. Pending a physical exam, Favre is expected to sign a contract worth $10-12 million.

With my family roots branching from New Orleans to little ol' Kiln, Mississippi, I've always taken a great interest in Brett Favre. And of course, I've seen the guy play since his college days, when he was scaring the CRAP out of Alabama as a QC for So. Miss back in the day (and no it wasn't THAT long ago, I'm not THAT old). I've always been a fan - I've supported him through those bumpy early NFL years, cried when he played against Oakland right after his daddy died, and celebrated each touchdown with him. But really. Really? Let it alone, Brett. I'm going to have to let you go now. I sort of understood about the Jets...but I'm not sure I can forgive the Vikings move. I hope Green Bay KILLS Minnesota this year.
